Sony VAIO BX740, BX760 review












Thanks to Sony , they published details 2 new notebook (Sony VAIO BX740 and BX760) they said this notebooks business-class notebooks. And both of them powered by Intel “Santa Rosa” platform and Centrino Duo technology.

Both of notebooks come with latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, ranging from T7100 at 1.8GHz to T7700 at 2.4GHz. Both of them also offers Intel GM965 chipset paired with integrated Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 or PM965 chipset with ATI Mobility Radeon HD2300 dedicated graphics card and this 2 notebooks also support 4GB of DDR2 memory and your dream come true with 200GB hard drive spinning at 5400rpm and also both of them come with DVD burners.

So for now what is difference between VAIO BX740 and BX760 ?
and the answer is about their display, The BX740 has 14.1-inch XGA LCD with 4:3 display ratio and 1024×768 or 1400×1050 resolution, while the BX760 has 15.4-inch 1280×800 widescreen display.

For connectivity or communications this notebooks feature wireless a/b/g/n (including 802.11n draft standard), Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth and a 56k modem, while the select BX740 models additionally provide WWAN connectivity using Sprint Mobile Broadband service. and for other features both of this notebooks, have PCMCIA slots, Memory Stick Media slots, Secure Digital slots, three USB ports in each model, VGA outputs, and a port replicator connectors. For audio/video conferencing, there are built-in 1.3 megapixel cameras and built-in microphones.


so I think enough too review about this 2 notebooks, and for info this notebook will come with Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Proffesional.
